Maidenhead Constituency consists of two Unitary Authorities operating within its boundaries,
each with their own set of wards:

Windsor and Maidenhead Royal Borough Council

Wards: Belmont, Bisham and Cookham, Boyn Hill, Bray, Cox Green, Furze Platt, Hurley and Walthams, Maidenhead Riverside, Oldfield, Pinkneys Green.

Wokingham Borough Council

Wards: Charvil, Coronation, Hurst, Remenham Wargrave and Ruscombe, Sonning, Twyford.

The Cookham Labour Party was formed in the years following World War II and its members served on the Parish Council and School Governing Bodies. It is now part of the Maidenhead Labour group.

Up to 1997 Maidenhead was part of the Windsor and Maidenhead constituency, but after that date became Maidenhead Constituency.

The 1997 boundary changes for parliamentary constituencies were accompanied by changes to our local authority; two of our local councillors, Kath Cutting and Tony Randall lost their seats.
